Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites can also save information in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. This page covers both.
We don't set any cookies when you browse or shop on e30empire.com. The only cookies we set are for staff signing in to our admin area.
We save a few things in your browser's storage. The basket and chat items are needed for those features to work. The visit ID is for our visitor statistics, and the recently viewed list remembers parts you have looked at. They stay on your device until you clear them, unless noted below.
The parts in your basket. Saved when you add a part. Parts you buy are taken out of it once your order goes through.
Parts you have looked at, for the “Recently viewed” row. Saved when you open a product page.
A random ID that keeps your chat messages in one conversation. Saved when you start a chat.
The name and email you typed into the chat, so you don't have to type them again. Saved when you start a chat.
Your chat history, so it is still there when you come back.
A random ID used to count the pages viewed in one visit, for our visitor statistics. Saved on every page and deleted when you close the tab.
Product pages with a buy button, the checkout and offer payment pages load PayPal's payment buttons. PayPal's script saves an item called __paypal_storage__ in your browser on those pages, and PayPal may set its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. It may set a security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) when it checks that a visitor is a person and not a bot. Cloudflare also runs web analytics on every page to give us visitor statistics. Its analytics does not use cookies.
Our homepage shows a Trustpilot rating box, which loads from Trustpilot. Trustpilot may set its own cookies or similar storage.
You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. You can also block them there. If you do, the basket, chat or PayPal buttons may stop working.
What we do with the information these collect is explained in our privacy policy. Questions: email [email protected].
