Exterior parts are the hardest E30 parts to find in good condition. Trim, spoilers and lenses were discontinued by BMW years ago, and most surviving examples are cracked, faded or repainted. We hunt down original pieces — M-Technic 1 and M-Technic 2 aero parts, Euro-spec headlights, chrome and shadowline trim — inspect them carefully, and photograph every flaw so you know exactly what ships to you.
Fitment tip: pre-facelift (1982–1987) and facelift (1987–1994) E30s use different bumpers, valances and some trim. M-Technic 1 aero fits pre-facelift cars, while M-Technic 2 was designed for facelift models. If you're unsure whether a part fits your build, message us with your model and year before ordering.
M-Technic 1 is the earlier, subtler aero package fitted to pre-facelift E30s (up to 1987), with a smaller front lip and rubber-look rear spoiler. M-Technic 2 arrived with the facelift and is the more aggressive kit — deeper front bumper spoiler, side skirts, and the two-piece rear spoiler. The two kits are not interchangeable without modification.
Yes — Euro smiley and ellipsoid headlights bolt into US cars and are one of the most popular E30 upgrades. You may need a wiring adjustment for city lights, and some US states have their own beam-pattern rules, so check local regulations.
